HBL Power Systems Ltd posted a significant dip in its net profit at Rs 1.99 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 against a profit of Rs 11.61 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.
The company’s income from operations for the second quarter was, however, up marginally at Rs 319.79 crore against Rs 287.30 crore for the corresponding period last year.
During the quarter, the company had exceptional income of Rs 6.54 crore from sale of assets and Rs 34 lakh after it wound up one of its subsidiary in Nepal.
It also had a foreign exchange loss of Rs 43.62 lakh.
