HBL Power Systems Ltd has logged a net profit of Rs 13.50 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013 as against the Rs 3.49 crore it registered during the previous year period. The Hyderabad-based battery manufacturer recorded a lower income of Rs 302.75 core (Rs 337.83 crore).
For the fiscal ended March 31, 2013, the company registered a net profit of Rs 20.44 crore on income of Rs 1,197.42 crore, as against a net profit of Rs 9.60 crore and income of Rs 1,089.53 crore the previous year, on a standalone basis.
The HBL Power board has recommended a 15 per cent dividend at 15 paise per share.
The company has three active subsidiaries – Agile Electric Assembly, HBL Germany GmbH and HBL America Inc – apart from a joint venture (Gulf Batteries Ltd) and an LLP (HBL Suntech LLP).
