City-based healthcare major, Zydus Wellness Ltd, today informed that the Delhi High Court has granted ex-parte restraining orders against a look-alike brand marketed by a different company.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the company informed: “In the on-going battle against look-alike brands and products, the Delhi High Court has granted ex-parte restraining orders against look-alike brands and products having resemblance to Nutralite table spread marketed by Zydus Wellness Ltd.”
The High Court restrained 'Naturelite' marketed by Everlike Food Products. “The brand was found to have packaging similar to the Zydus Nutralite brand which is the market leader in the table spread category,” it said.
“The recent order of the court will provide further strength to Zydus Wellness' effort to restrain such unethical activities of its competitors,” said a company spokesperson.
