Liquor-maker Tilaknagar Industries today said it has received a favourable order from the Bombay High Court in a case related to trademarks ‘Mansion House’ and ‘Savoy Club’.
In a filing to the BSE, the company said the Bombay High Court has dismissed a petition filed by UTO Nederland B.V. seeking to restrain Tilaknagar Industries from the use of these trademarks.
Tilaknagar Industries produces Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and owns brands such as Mansion House Brandy, Madiraa Rum, Senate Royale Whiskey and White House Premium Whiskey.
Shares of Tilaknagar Industries were being quoted at Rs 36.70 apiece on the BSE in afternoon trade today, up 11.55 per cent from their previous close.
