Mumbai-based Hindustan Construction Company said it has secured a third contract worth Rs 373 crore from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
The order is for design and construction of a 2.2 km twin tunnel between Shalimar Baug and Netaji Subhash Place stations on the Mukundpur-Yamuna Vihar corridor under phase III of the Delhi Metro. The contract is scheduled for completion in 36 months.
The company has constructed two packages of the Airport Express line as part of its earlier contracts.
HCC said it was also instrumental in completing the 4,142 metre Delhi metro section from the north of Vishwa Vidyalaya station to the south end of ISBT station.
