HCL Care, HCL Infosystems’ support and service division, has been appointed by Philips to provide contact centre support service for its consumer products.
HCL Care will also handle distribution and sales service of spares for which service personnel will be jointly trained and developed by HCL Care and Philips.
It has service networks across the country and provides support services such as hardware-software repair for various IT, telecom and consumer electronics products.
The centre is established at Noida for providing pan-India service support. The partnership also marks HCL Infosystems’ foray into after-sales service in consumer lifestyle product space.
“Over the years, we have acquired a rich knowledge of field and contact centre service for our own line of businesses involving products, including laptops, display devices and telecom equipment,” Sayantan Nandi, Senior Vice-President, HCL Care, said.
