The Pune labour court has adjourned the hearing of a petition filed by Bajaj Auto against the workers’ union to August 7.
The hearing was scheduled to be held today.
Earlier, Bajaj Auto submitted its say on a written statement filed by the union on July 29. The union has asked for time to respond to this submission.
In the last week of June, the motorcycles major had filed a petition in the labour court asking that a stoppage of workers at its Chakan plant since June 25 be declared illegal.
