The country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today reported a marginal rise of 0.21 per cent in sales at 5,26,097 units in December 2014.
The company had sold 5,24,990 two-wheeler units in the year-ago period, Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.
“The company sold record 66,45,787 units of two-wheelers in the period January-December 2014, translating into a growth of 8 per cent over the previous calendar year (2013), when the company had sold 61,83,849 two-wheeler units,” HMCL said.
For the fiscal 2014-15, the company has clocked a cumulative sales of 50,56,325 units during April-December against 46,56,498 units in the corresponding period last financial year, up 8.58 per cent.
