Frozen food processing, manufacturing, and exporting company Himalaya Food International Ltd, on Wednesday said, it is venturing into the Indian market with a healthier fast food brand, Burgers ‘N’ Fries, and plans to open 500 outlets under the franchisee model by next year.
It’s not a junk food and the company would serve all-natural and gluten-free vegetarian and vegan fast food made with unrefined and therapeutic ingredients to Indian consumers, according to a press release here. The products have been recently launched at a company owned retail outlet in Delhi-NCR.
The 40-year-old brand has evolved to become India’s largest mushroom grower and has reached the US markets, said Man Mohan Malik, Founder-CMD, Himalaya Food International Ltd. Its newly-launched franchise options in kiosks developed under the Burgers ‘N’ Fries’ brand will serve the all-natural, no-preservatives, no trans-fat healthier range of products.
