HLL Lifecare has bagged its maiden bulk order for the supply of over 1.3 million pieces of female condoms to Gambia and Burkina Faso in Africa and Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Islands.
The aim is to support a global initiative to tackle the incidences of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections in the three countries, a company release said. The condom has been indigenously developed and produced in a world class manufacturing facility with a capacity of 25 million pieces a year, it added.
