Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 40.64 per cent increase in total sales for October at 2,50,606 units.
The company’s total sales stood at 1,78,181 units in the corresponding month of last year.
Motorcycle sales jumped by 70.37 per cent to 1,21,832 units in October this year as against 71,509 units in the same month last year, HMSI said in a statement.
The company reported an increase of 20.71 per cent in its scooter sales to 1,28,774 units from 1,06,672 units in October 2011, it added.
