Premium cars manufacturer Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) has posted a 64 per cent rise in monthly domestic sales at 15,263 units in November, compared with 9,332 units sold during the same a year ago.
The company also registered an overall growth of 46 per cent during April-November, selling 1,16,705 units as against 80,163 units during the corresponding period last year, HCIL said in a statement.
“We continue to witness strong demand for all our products across markets. We are aggressively expanding our dealer network to reach out to more customers and recently we reached the milestone of 200 ealer network in the country,” said Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice President (Marketing & Sales) at HCIL.
“During November, we began the second shift of production in Tapukara plant which has helped us in improving the availability of Honda City,” added.
