Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), a manufacturer of premium cars in India, posted a 30 per cent rise in domestic sales in April 2014.
The company sold 11,040 vehicles in the domestic market during the month under review, compared with sold 8,488 units sold during the same period of last year.
“We have started the financial year 2014-15 on a positive note and would like thank our customers for the fantastic response to the all new Honda City. We also celebrated the first anniversary of Honda Amaze by introducing the anniversary edition and we are confident of its good sales in this fiscal as well,” Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice-President, (Marketing & Sales)Honda Cars India said.
HCIL also exported a total of 402 units during April 2014.
