Honda has announced a price increase for Brio, Jazz hatchback and City sedan by 0.2 per cent to 2.6 per cent from October 1.
In an official statement, the Japanese carmaker said the prices have been increased “due to the rising input costs, inflationary pressures and increase in freight as a result of the increase in diesel prices”.
Present in India since 1995, Honda Cars India has two manufacturing facilities at Greater Noida, UP, and Tapukara, Rajasthan. It makes Brio, Jazz, City, Civic and Accord locally, while importing the CR-V from Japan as a completely-built unit.
