Japanese major Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India Limited has introduced three new variants of its popular scooter models offering them with new technologies and assuring superior performance and mileage.

The company has launched three variants of its popular scooters Activa, Aviator and Dio vehicles with Honda Eco Tech (HET) technology, without actually increasing the prices. All these scooters are powered by 110 cc engine and now offer nearly 10-12 per cent higher fuel economy, according to Surendar Babu, general manager of Pratul Honda, a dealership in Andhra Pradesh.

After nearly 12 years of the launch of these scoters, Honda has introduced them with new technology features which make its ownership even more enjoyable both in terms of riding comfort but also in superior performance, he said.

The new technology centre located in India has played a critical role in the development of these automatic vehicles which offer up to 60 km mileage per litre, he said.
