Two—wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) on Wednesday reported 46.66 per cent growth in its total sales for January at 1,89,353 units.
The company’s total sales stood at 1,29,110 units in the corresponding month of the previous year, HMSI said in a statement.
Motorcycle sales jumped 31.67 per cent to 76,850 units in January this year as against 58,365 units in January 2011, it added.
The company reported an increase of 59.03 per cent in its scooter sales to 1,12,503 units from 70,745 units in January 2011.
