Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has reported a six per cent increase in total sales for May at 1,45,729 units against 1,37,842 units in the corresponding month of the previous year.
According to a company statement, motorcycle sales grew 16 per cent to 69,488 units from 60,040 units.
The company, however, reported a decline of two per cent in scooter sales to 76,241 units last month from 77,802 units during the same month last year.
