Honda Cars India Ltd has launched the All-New 3rd Generation Honda Jazz in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana market.
The Japanese automotive company expects to boosts its sales volumes further during the year with the roll out of the new Jazz. Last fiscal, Honda sold about 1.89 lakh units in the domestic market and expects a strong double digit growth this year too.
The company, which has taken up expansion of its manufacturing plant in Rajasthan, expects the plant to be ready by mid 2016. This would enhance the capacity from 2,40,000 units per annum across two manufacturing units to 3,00,000 units.
The All-New Jazz is developed as a functional compact hatchback which offers dynamic styling, good fuel economy, advanced technology and equipment and utility.
The Jazz is a global model in Honda’s line-up and known for its functionality and refinement. The diesel variant will debut with 1.5 L i-DTEC diesel engine exclusively for the Indian market. It offers fuel economy of 27.3 km/l. The Petrol variant of the Jazz is powered with a refined 1.2 L i-VTEC engine promising high fuel efficiency.

The All New Jazz has been developed at Honda’s R&D Centre located in Tochigi, Japan. The car has been designed basis results obtained from extensive market surveys across the world including India for people’s driving needs and lifestyles.
