Baba Kalyani, Chairman & Managing Director, Bharat Forge, was conferred an honorary ‘Doctor of Science’ (honoris causa) by the President of India Pranab Mukherjee at the 58th Annual Convocation of IIT Kharagpur and the culmination of the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the institute.
The Doctor of Science was conferred on Kalyani for his contribution to entrepreneurship and for making Bharat Forge a global leader in the forging industry. Also present at the occasion were the Board of Governors and the Senate of IIT Kharagpur.
