Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) has appointed retired IAS officer Sanjiv Misra as an Independent Director on the Board.
A former member of the 13th Finance Commission, Sanjiv Misra (65) has served in key positions in the federal and State Governments.
He has served as the Managing Director of the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation and held several senior positions in the Ministry of Petroleum, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Finance.
