One hundred golfers from the corporate world, including four women, competed for the top spot in nine different categories at the first golf championship organised by the Hyatt Regency Pune last week-end.
The experience began with a champagne breakfast before the tee off, to a gala dinner and award ceremony.
“Golf is traditionally considered a privileged sport and we are proud to introduce the culture of the game as a means of increasing interaction between major players in the corporate world,” said Mohammad Labban, General Manager, Hyatt Regency Pune.
Going by the overwhelming response, the hotel plans to hold the championship next year as well, he added.
