Hyundai Creta, the SUV from Hyundai Motor India, has received ‘overwhelming response’, according to a statement from the Korean automobile manufacturer.
The SUV launched last July has received over 70,000 bookings in the domestic market and over 15,770 orders globally. Commenting on the global success of Creta, Rakesh Srivastava, Senior VP, Sales & Marketing, HMIL, said: “Our goal is to maximise production to make 10,000 units of Creta to meet the global customers’ demand while maintaining our leadership position in the domestic market.” Hyundai will continue to maintain its leadership position in the export market with the strong sales of Creta and will export to new markets soon.
