Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) on Monday reported 13 per cent growth year-on-year (YoY) in its domestic sales for the month of July at 41,201 units compared with 36,503 units in July last year.
Exports also grew 5 per cent YoY to 14,606 units for the month against 13,908 units in July 2015, the company said in a statement.
“Hyundai continues to sustain strong growth trajectory, with a volume of 41,201 units and a growth of 12.9 per cent on the strength of strong pull performance of Grand i10, Elite i20 and Creta in a market showing improved customer sentiments led by good monsoons, low inflation, reduced interest rates and dropping fuel prices,” Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice-President Sales and Marketing, HMIL, said.
