Hyundai Motor India today launched a special edition of its compact car i10, priced at Rs 4.24 lakh and Rs 4.57 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), to mark crossing of 12 lakh sales of the model.
The special edition i10, named ‘i Tech’ will be available with engine options of 1.1 litre and 1.2 litre.
Commenting on the special edition i10, company Vice President (Sales and Marketing) Rakesh Srivastava said: “It is our continuous effort to gauge changing customer preferences and keep introducing new features in our products to give our customers enhanced value offering.”
The special edition will have features like rear-view parking camera and electrochromic function on cabin rear view mirror and steering-mounted bluetooth device.
The i10 has been one of the successful models from Hyundai’s portfolio since its launch in 2007 and is also exported overseas, apart from being sold in the domestic market. The existing versions of i10 are priced between Rs 4.08 lakh and Rs 4.45 lakh (ex—Showroom Delhi).
Apart from the i10, Hyundai Motor India sells models such as Eon, Santro, i20, Verna, Elantra, Sonata and SUV Santa Fe in India.
