Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) had sold 43,481 units in July, marginally up from 43,007 units sold in the same month last year.
According to a company statement, exports stood at 16,109 units during the month, up 31 per cent, against 12,308 units in July last year.
"Hyundai continues its strong growth trajectory with a cumulative volume of 59,590 units registering a growth of 7.7 per cent on the strong performance of Grand i10, new Elite i20, new 2018 Creta and next gen Verna. A positive growth trend is visible with the stabilisation of macro-economic factors, good monsoon along with increase in customer confidence and sentiment towards new vehicle purchase," Y K Koo, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, HMIL, said.
