Hyundai Motor India today reported a 7 per cent increase in total sales at 55,713 units in June.
The company had sold 52,062 units in the same month last year, HMIL said in a statement.
In the domestic market, Hyundai sold 39,806 units last month as compared with 36,300 units in June last year, up 9.7 per cent.
Exports rose marginally to 15,907 units as against 15,762 units in the same period last year.
HMIL Senior Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) Rakesh Srivastava said: “Hyundai volumes grew by 9.7 per cent with sales of 39,806 units, with a strong pull performance of volume models the Grand i10, Elite i20 & Creta and on the build-up of a positive environment with a good beginning to the monsoon and announcement of the Seventh Pay Commission for central government employees.”
