Hyundai Motor India has announced a partnership with KidZania India, an indoor theme in Mumbai that engages children through real life role-play.

Under this agreement, Hyundai will establish the first children’s driving school in KidZania Mumbai, targeting the 4-14 age group. Hyundai’s partnership with KidZania Mumbai includes the Department of Motor Vehicle, Car Dealership and Driving Street. The partnership will empower future drivers through an authentic driving experience, said a press release.

As part of this youth engagement programme, Hyundai aims to provide a driving programme that would allow children to learn the responsibilities of driving as well as road and traffic safety guidelines. If they pass their driving test they would be given a licence valid in KidZania that could be used to drive battery-operated vehicles at the Hyundai driving street, the release said.

Children could become auto sales consultants or car designers. All these initiatives would offer experiential learning and make children enact different roles in a practical and active environment of experiences in the automobile industry, the release said.
