Technology giant IBM today said it has deployed data centre management services at Union Bank of India (UBI) to help enhance productivity and improve business operations.
The service has enabled the bank to enhance reliability and efficiency of critical infrastructure as well as significantly improve data management across multiple locations, IBM said in a statement.
IBM will provide the services to UBI as part of a seven-year engagement.
The data centre management services from IBM will include end-to-end infrastructure management for servers, storage and database for both production and disaster recovery sites, it added.
Union Bank of India is one of the largest public sector banks and is listed on Forbes 2000.
