IL&FS Engineering Services Ltd has bagged a Rs 266.50-crore construction order from Rapid Metro Rail-Gurgaon (phase-II) project.
This contract involves construction of single and double track elevated viaduct for the metro project in Gurgaon from its special purpose vehicle formed for its implementation.
The Rs 266.50-crore project has to be completed in 24 months.
The company has already executed Phase-I of this project running a length of 5.9 km. That involved design and construction of single and double track elevated viaduct including six elevated station buildings.
The project is amongst first privately funded metro. The company shares hit a new low to close at Rs 32.60, down 2.19 per cent on the BSE.
