IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has won three orders in the power infrastructure segment worth Rs 331 crore.
The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd has awarded all the three projects. These are to be completed simultaneously in 24 months.
The Rural Electrification Works-Package-12 project involves supply and delivery of materials and equipments for rural electricity infrastructure and household electrification of villages.
The project covers Thakurpukur, Mahestola, Budge, Budge-I, Budge-II, Kultali, Basanti, Sonarpur, Bhangar-I, Bhangar-II, Bishnupur-I, and Bhishnupur-II blocks in 24- Paraganas (South) district of West Bengal under Backward Region Grant Fund Scheme.
It has two other similar rural electrification projects in West Bengal.
