IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has secured a Rs 173-crore contract from Gas Authority of India Ltd for laying and construction of pipeline works of Section I Pipeline at Koottanad of Kochi-Koottanad-Bangalore-Mangalore Pipeline Project Phase-II in Kerala.
The 91-km-long 30” pipeline project is to be mechanically completed within 24 months.
The company in a statement said it is already executing an EPC contract for GAIL for laying a pipeline along with associated works for pipeline replacement project in Gujarat region.
It is also currently executing an EPC contract for Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, that involves laying of pipeline from Land Fall Point, Mangalore Port to Mangalore/Padur Cavern for storage of crude oil.
