IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Metro-Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGS) Company Ltd for the construction of a viaduct corridor.
The Rs 374.64-crore project is for the construction of a viaduct corridor from Interface Point with Gyaspur depot to APMC Metro Rail Station to Shreyas Metro Rail Station. This is part of the North-South Corridor of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-I. The project is to be completed in 120 weeks from the date of issue of letter of acceptance.
The company in a statement to the BSE has informed that it is currently executing three metro rail projects worth Rs 700 crore in Bengaluru for Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, Rapid Metro Rail Project Phase II in Gurgaon and for Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd project in Kolkata.
The company had earlier executed another elevated viaduct project, including six station buildings for yet another project.
