IL&FS to pick up stake in Reliance arm project

Reliance Ventures has entered into an agreement with Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services, whereby IL&FS will become a strategic partner and co-promoter of a project to develop a model economic township at Jhajjar, Haryana.

Reliance Ventures is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries.

The project is a spin off from Reliance Haryana SEZ Ltd, a joint venture between Reliance Ventures and the Haryana Government.

IL&FS will acquire 45 per cent equity in the project company, where Reliance Ventures and the Haryana Government will hold 45 per cent and 10 per cent respectively.
