Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt Ltd’s overall sales rose 20.5 per cent to 50,473 vehicles in March compared with 41,886 units sold during the same month of last year.
The company sold 35,782 vehicles in March, a 20 per cent increase from 29,819 units sold during the same period of last year, the company said in a statement.
During the month, Yamaha Motor India sold 14,691 vehicles, a 22 per cent rise from 12,067 units sold during the same month of last year.
Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. (YMIS) was set up in 2013 as a separate entity for India Yamaha Motor’s sales and marketing needs.
At present, the company sells a range of products in India such as Fazer (153cc), FZ-S (153cc), FZ (153cc) and SZ-X, and imports VMAX (1,679cc), YZF-R1 (998cc) and FZ1 (998cc).
