Indiabulls Power Ltd said on Wednesday that Jayant Karwale, a former Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Power, has been appointed as the company’s Managing Director.
Karwale joined the private sector in 2009 after joining Bharat Forge as Chief Executive Officer (Energy Development). Before joining Indiabulls, Karwale was Managing Director at Jindal Power Ltd.
“Karwale brings with him a unique combination of strong administrative capabilities from the Government sector and rich leadership experience from the power sector. We are happy to have him as part of the Indiabulls Power family,” said Rajiv Rattan, Founder Chairman of the company.
