A high-level delegation led by the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, Saut Siringoringo, has recently visited Premium Stephan, the geared motors manufacturing facility of Premium Transmission Ltd (PTL), in Aurangabad.
The plant was established in 2012 following PTL’s acquisition of Rexnord Stephan in Germany. An ISO 9001: 2008-certified facility, it had commenced manufacturing the Premium Stephan M series of geared motors the same year. The facility can manufacture 25,000 units per annum.
Hariyanta Soetarto, Consul (Economics), Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, and Walfred Tagor Manihuruk, Director - Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC) in Chennai, were part of the delegation.
The visit was a part of a 3-day session organised by ITPC in association with the Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA), to enhance trade and investment relations between India and Indonesia.

Revenue from the plant since inception has witnessed a CAGR of 30 per cent. More than half its products are exported to Europe and South East Asia.
