Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) on Saturday said its net profit during April-June quarter increased 6.22 per cent to Rs 85.05 crore from Rs 80.07 crore in the same period previous year.
During the first quarter, IGL recorded a turnover of Rs 841.35 crore against Rs 595.70 crore in the corresponding period last year, registering a sales value growth of 41 per cent in financial terms, the company said.
“There has been an overall sales volume growth of 15 per cent over the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Product wise, compressed natural gas recorded sales volume growth of 13 per cent, while piped natural gas showed volume growth of 23 per cent in the quarter compared to last year,” IGL said.
