Inox Wind arm acquires Vinirrmaa Energy

Inox Wind Ltd today said its arm Inox Wind Infrastructure Services Ltd has acquired Vinirrmaa Energy Generation Pvt Ltd for an undisclosed amount.

“Continuing the company’s expansion in southern states of India, Inox Wind Infrastructure Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Inox Wind Limited, has acquired Vinirrmaa Energy Generation Private Limited, with effect from January 23, 2016,” the company said in a BSE filing.

In view of the same, Vinirrmaa Energy Generation has become a step down subsidiary of Inox Wind, it added.

The value of the deal, however, was not disclosed.

Inox Wind is a fully integrated player in the wind energy market with manufacturing plants at Una, Himachal Pradesh for hubs and nacelles and Rohika, near Ahmedabad (Gujarat) for blades and tubular towers.

Inox Wind manufactures the key components of the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) to ensure high quality based on the most advanced technology, reliability of performance, and cost competitiveness. Inox WTGs are designed for low wind speed sites such as those in India.
