Ipca Laboratories today posted 84.1 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 137.03 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013-14.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 74.43 crore during the January-March quarter of the 2012-13 fiscal.
Net sales of the company during Q4, 2013-14 were Rs 739.81 crore, up 12.32 per cent from Rs 658.64 crore in the year-ago period, Ipca Laboratories said in a filing to the BSE.
The company’s Q4 revenue from domestic formulations business stood at Rs 196.56 crore, up 10 per cent, while revenue from exports stood at Rs 373.18 crore, up 19 per cent.
The Ipca Labs scrip was trading at Rs 785 on the BSE in the afternoon trade, down 0.39 per cent from the previous close.
