Isuzu Motors India has launched its India-made range of “D-Max” pickup trucks in Karnataka.
The D-Max range comprises of three models – two cabin options and two deck options. D-Max Single cab will be available in flat deck and the D-MAX Space Cab will be available in both flat deck and arched deck variants. The DMAX Single Cab will be priced at ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore) and the DMAX Space Cab will be priced at ₹6.19 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore) for the flat deck variant and ₹7.09 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore) for the arched deck variant respectively.
Takashi Kikuchi, Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India, said the Indian pickup truck segment is one of largest and fastest growing segments in commercial vehicles accounting to 35 per cent of the total CV market.
“By 2023, the 1-tonne pickup segment in India is expected to grow to 8 lakh units and become the world’s largest pickup market,” he said.
