IVRCL Group has announced that it has bagged orders worth Rs 1,430 crore, including a Rs 1,201.70-crore order by its subsidiary IVRCL Assets & Holdings Ltd, for a 151-km road project that entails four-laning of Rai Malikpur-Bhiwani-Kharak Corridor Project in Haryana.
This is to be executed as a build, operate and transfer (BOT) tollway road project on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) pattern from the Haryana Government. While the concession period is 20 years, it has a construction period of 30 months.
This corridor serves as major interstate south-north connectivity between Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra to the northern states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.
This is the second road project that the IVRCL Group has bagged in a month. The other relates to a Rs 1,300-crore 4/6 laning of Raipur-Bilaspur Section of NH-200 in Chhattisgarh under NHDP Phase IV from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
According to a statement, IVRCL’s water, transportation and buildings divisions bagged orders worth Rs 111.06 crore in Tamil Nadu from Palani Municipality in Dindigul district. Other orders include work for Solapur Super Thermal Power Project (2x660 MW) awarded by NTPC Ltd.
While the transportation division bagged an order worth Rs 71.92 crore from the Ajmer division of North Western Railway in Rajasthan awarded by Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd, another order relates to a Rs 45.10-crore order in the buildings division for AIIMS, Bhopal.
