IVRCL secures Rs 701 cr orders

IVRCL Ltd (IVRCL) has announced that the company’s water, irrigation and buildings divisions have bagged orders worth Rs 701.49 crore, including a rural water supply project from Tamil Nadu Government arm.

In a statement, the Hyderabad-based infrastructure company said that it has bagged a Rs 595.45-crore order from Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board for providing water supply for 755 rural habitations in Virudhunagar district from river Thamirabarani. This includes maintenance for one year.

Other orders in the water division are for a lift water scheme from Kabini river to fill 20 tanks in Nanjangud, Chamarajanagar and Gundlupettaluks for drinking water awarded by Cauvery Neeravari Nigama Niyamitha, a Government of Karnataka undertaking. Another order is from Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd.

The buildings division has bagged orders worth Rs 106.04 crore from National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd at Shivgangai in Tamil Nadu. It has also secured an order for civil and structural works for beneficiation plant for NMDC Donimalai, Karnataka awarded by Hindustan Dorr-Oliver Ltd.

The company would also construct a training school for Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration and Research at Cherlapally near Hyderabad.
