Luxury car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has launched Jaguar F-Type, a two-seater convertible sports car, in India. The company has launched two variants of the F-type – F-Type S and F-Type V8S – in India.
“The Jaguar F-Tyoe is our all-new, two-seater sports car and we believe it will be a game changer for the Indian sports car market. With its stunning design and driver focused engineering, this car will further enhance the appeal of our brand and I am confident that it will arouse senses and stir emotions like no other car in India,” said Rohit Suri, Vice-President, Jaguar & Land Rover India.
The F-Type S is priced at Rs 1.37 crore and that for F-Type V8S is Rs 1.61 crore (ex-showroom Mumbai, pre-Octroi).
Separately, Jaguar India said its sales grew 68 per cent in the first quarter of this fiscal year. This growth was helped by the locally assembled Jaguar XF 2.2 litre diesel, which was launched earlier this calendar year.
