Jakson Power Solutions today said it has bagged two orders, worth Rs 81 crore, to set up infrastructure for solar power projects.
The company has received an order to the tune of Rs 47 crore from Refex Energy for supplying 42 Solar Inverter Substations (SISS) for various projects in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
“These installations are targeted to generate 60 MW of solar power and are slated to be completed by October 2013,” Jakson Power said in a statement.
Another order is from state-run BHEL and is valued at about Rs 34 crore, the company said adding it relates to construction of 10 MW solar power plant in Orissa.
“These orders will reinforce our expertise in providing highly reliable and advanced solutions in solar industry,” Jakson Power Joint Managing Director Sundeep Gupta said.
Besides, Jakson Power has been registered as a System Integrator with Chhattisgarh State Renewable Energy Development Agency for the 2013-14 period.
“Under this registration, the company plans to implement more than 500 KWp off-grid decentralised Solar PV power plants in the state this year,” the statement said.
