Jet Airways today launched its maiden flight from Bangalore to Abu Dhabi, the city where its partner airline Ethihad is based.
The new daily service will enhance connectivity to multiple destinations in the Gulf, North America, Europe and Africa from the Gulf city.
Jet is offering a special return economy introductory fare of Rs 21,725 (including taxes), while the return premieres introductory fare for the same sector is Rs 42,440 (including taxes).
This new flight will further strengthen Jet’s growing international network in the Gulf region, enhancing flight connectivity beyond Abu Dhabi to immediate Gulf countries and to destinations in North America, Africa and Europe, the airline said in a statement.
Jet currently operates a daily flight each from Delhi, Kochi and Chennai and 11 flights a week from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi.
The airline will deploy Boeing 737—800 NGs on this route, Gaurang Shetty, senior vice—president, commercial said, adding, guests travelling to Abu Dhabi will now have multiple options to travel to destinations of their choice in the Gulf, North America, Europe and Africa in a seamless on Etihad and other interline partners.
