JK Tyre & Industries today announced the commercial launch of the country’s biggest ever tyre ‘VEM 045’, which is 12 feet high and will be used for dump trucks.
The tyre, which highlights JK Tyre’s undisputed leadership in R&D and market knowledge, was launched at 12th International Mining & Machinery Exhibition in the city.
Standing at 12 feet high and weighing 3.7 tonnes, the tyre has been built for India’s biggest Rigid Dump—truck having nominal payload capacity of 240 tonnes, the company said in a statement.
“JK Tyre is the only Off—The—Road tyre manufacturer with widest range of customised product—solution for Industrial and Mining applications,” Devesh Dabas, Head of Off—the—road Business at JK Tyre, said.
