Pharmaceutical firm Jubilant Life Sciences today said it has repaid $202 million (nearly Rs 900 crore) for redemption of outstanding overseas bonds.
The company has made “Repayment of $202 million on account of outstanding foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) including yield to maturity (YTM) of $60 million,” Jubilant Life Sciences said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
“After the repayment of our last FCCBs amounting to $202 million, there are no major debt repayments due for the next three years,” Jubilant Life Sciences Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Shyam S. Bhartia, said.
The company has repaid all the outstanding FCCBs on time in line with terms and conditions of the FCCB instruments, Jubilant Life added.
Shares of Jubilant Life Sciences were today trading at Rs 166.55 in the afternoon trade on BSE, down 0.77 per cent from its previous close.
