TMT steel bars maker Kamdhenu Ltd on Thursday reported a 114.92 per cent rise in net profit at ₹5.91 crore for the quarter ended June 2018, against ₹2.75 crore in the previous year period. Its net revenue stood at ₹399.78 crore.
“Our revenues grew 75 per cent to ₹400 crore and our profits improved by 114 per cent to ₹6 crore for the quarter, driven by our strong execution strategies supported by strong demand for infrastructure development. The growth was on account of our brand pull created through our large distribution and marketing strength,” said Kamdhenu CMD Satish Kumar Agarwal.
The expected growth in infrastructure project will boost the demand for TMT steel bars, he added.
“We expect Kamdhenu to benefit a lot from the same. Affordable housing would be a big boost to the TMT steel sector,” said Agarwal. Our Bureau
