Global infrastructure EPC major KEC International Ltd , a part of Mumbai-based RPG Group, has bagged new orders worth ₹1,323 crore across various verticals . The new orders include a major ₹644 crore for composite and overhead electrification works secured by the Railway business unit.
The transmission and distribution business has received several turnkey orders amounting to ₹ 287 crore across India, UAE and the Americas. The cables business has obtained ₹68 crore order for various types of cables/cabling works, the company said.
Two new business verticals, the smart infra business and the civil business have secured order of ₹233 crore and ₹91 crore respectively. The smart infra business has secured two orders as master service integrator for Smart City ICT Components for one brownfield and one greenfield smart city while the civil business has bagged orders for civil and construction works from leading automobile companies.

He also added that the order wins in Railways segment would help the company to further consolidate its order book and establish leadership in this sector.
