KEC International, an RPG Group company, has posted a 34 per cent drop in net profit at ₹19 crore for the quarter ended in December, compared to ₹29 crore a year ago.
Net revenue of the engineering, procurement and construction company surged 22.5 per cent at ₹2,202 crore as against ₹1,797 crore a year ago.
Ramesh Chandak, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, said, “Strong execution and robust order book has helped us achieve a good top line growth. Further, our profitability is gradually improving every quarter.”
The order book currently stands at ₹10,250 crore, of which 58 per cent is from outside India.
At 1 pm on Wednesday, the company scrip was trading 2.3 per cent higher at ₹53.40 on BSE.
